Bloordale Gardens lie between Burnhamthorpe to the north and just south of Bloor Street West to the south. It fits between the West Mall to the east and over to about Markland Drive on its west side.

The housing in this neighbourhood has mostly bungalows and 1 1/2 storey homes 50-60 years old with the occassional 2-storey homes. Most of the lots have 50 foot frontages and are 110 - 130 feet deep.
Bloordale Gardens is a mature neighbourhood, surrounded by parkland and yet minutes to great local shopping, including Sherway Gardens & several schools. The trees on the streets of this community are older, leafier and taller than many newer neighbourhoods. It is a family friendly community.
There is a lovely series of linked parks, beginning with Bloordale Park and arriving at the Olympium at Centennial Park. These parks have updated playground equipment and are well maintained. There are occasional glimpses of wildlife such as cardinals and rabbits, possums and hawks.
